Privacy Policy
Effective: April 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Leverage Technologies Inc. (“Leverage,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit getleverage.com (the “Site”), interact with our content, or engage us for advisory and operational engineering services (collectively, the “Services”).
Leverage provides operational engineering and enterprise AI-readiness advisory services to executives at growth-stage and Fortune 500 organizations. Our offerings include consulting engagements, the proprietary CPR® Framework, executive briefings, whitepapers, the Come Up for Air book, and The Optimize Podcast. Because our audience is executive and our information practices are calibrated to that B2B context, this Policy reflects business-to-business norms rather than consumer-application norms.
1. Information We Collect
a. Information you provide directly.
When you complete a contact form, request a strategy call, download a whitepaper or executive briefing, subscribe to a newsletter, or otherwise interact with our lead-capture mechanisms, we collect identifiers and professional details such as your full name, business email address, employer, job title or function, country, and any free-text message you submit. When you engage us under a Statement of Work, Master Services Agreement, or similar contract, we additionally process the categories of information specified in those agreements (which govern over this Policy with respect to that engagement’s data).
b. Information collected automatically.
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect technical and usage information, including IP address (truncated where feasible), browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, the date and time of access, and aggregated session metrics. We use first-party and limited third-party cookies and similar technologies (e.g., pixels, local storage, server-side analytics events) to operate the Site and to measure performance, audience composition, and content engagement.
c. Information from third parties.
We may receive information about you from publicly available sources, B2B data-enrichment vendors (for example, to verify professional title or industry of inbound leads), partners who refer you, and integrated platforms (for example, when you click through from LinkedIn, a podcast directory, or a publisher page).
We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under sixteen (16) years of age. The Site is not directed at children, and our Services are sold exclusively to organizations and their authorized representatives.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site and our content products;
- Respond to inquiries, schedule strategy calls, and qualify potential engagements;
- Deliver gated assets such as whitepapers, executive briefings, and recorded sessions;
- Send transactional and operational communications (e.g., download confirmations, scheduling reminders, engagement updates);
- Send marketing and thought-leadership communications consistent with applicable law and your stated preferences (you may unsubscribe at any time);
- Conduct analytics, audience research, and benchmark studies (in aggregated or de-identified form where feasible);
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity, and enforce our Terms of Service;
- Comply with applicable legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from public authorities.
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not engage in “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”).
3. Cookies & Analytics
We use a small set of essential and analytics cookies to operate the Site. Essential cookies are required for security, session continuity, and form submission and cannot be disabled without breaking the Site. Analytics cookies and tracking events help us understand which content and pages are most useful to executives so we can prioritize editorial investment.
Where required by law, we present a cookie banner that allows you to accept, reject, or selectively manage non-essential cookies. You may also configure your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being set. If you disable cookies, certain features of the Site (such as form submissions) may not function as intended.
4. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information about you in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. We share information with vendors that perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, email delivery, analytics, customer-relationship management, calendaring, payment processing, document storage, and security tooling. These providers are bound by contract to use the information only to provide the relevant service to us.
- Affiliates and successors. We may share information with affiliates under common ownership and with successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal process, enforce our agreements, protect the rights, property, or safety of Leverage or others, or investigate suspected misconduct.
- With your direction. We may share information at your direction or with your consent (for example, to introduce you to a referral partner).
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. Inactive marketing leads are typically purged or de-identified within thirty-six (36) months. Engagement records are retained for the period required by the underlying agreement and applicable professional-services record-keeping standards.
6. Your Rights and Choices
a. United States residents.
Depending on your state of residence (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws in force), you may have the right to: (i) confirm whether we process your personal information and request access to it; (ii) request correction of inaccurate information; (iii) request deletion; (iv) opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, or certain types of profiling; and (v) appeal a denial of a rights request. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
b. EEA, UK, and Switzerland.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or Swiss FADP, as applicable, including rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.
c. How to exercise your rights.
To submit a rights request, email privacy@getleverage.com with the subject line “Privacy Rights Request.” We will verify your identity using information reasonably available to us before fulfilling the request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights.
7. International Transfers
Leverage is headquartered in the United States and primarily processes information in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that the laws governing data protection in the United States may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland to a country not subject to an adequacy decision, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (or other lawful transfer mechanisms) and apply supplementary measures where appropriate.
8. Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission or electronic storage is one-hundred-percent secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials you use to access any portion of the Services that requires authentication.
9. Third-Party Sites and Services
The Site links to third-party properties (e.g., LinkedIn, podcast directories, the Come Up for Air publisher page, and Nick Sonnenberg’s personal site at nicksonnenberg.com) that are not operated by Leverage. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing information.
10. AI Tools and Generative-AI Disclosures
Our advisory practice uses generative AI and machine-learning tools as part of our internal research, ideation, and deliverable preparation. We do not submit client confidential information into general-purpose third-party AI services unless the relevant engagement agreement expressly authorizes it. Any AI-assisted artifact provided to a client is reviewed by a Leverage operator before delivery.
Information you submit to Leverage through the Site (e.g., a contact-form message) may be processed by AI-assisted tooling for the purposes described in Section 2 (e.g., routing, prioritization). We do not use Site-submitted personal information to train publicly available foundation models.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent material update. If we make a change that materially expands the categories of information we collect or the ways we use or disclose your information, we will provide additional notice (for example, by email to recently active leads or by a prominent banner on the Site) before the change takes effect.
12. Contact Us
For questions about this Policy or our information practices, contact us at privacy@getleverage.com. For other legal matters, contact legal@getleverage.com.
